Thanksgiving Dinner
Our annual Thanksgiving dinner this year will be on Saturday, November 2o, 2010 at 12PM NOON here at the post. The dinner is as always a POTLUCK. The meat will be provided so please prepare a side dish and desert. For more information please contact Michelle @ (503) 362-5944.
We are also needing volunteers to take home a turkey to prepare for the dinner. If you would like to do so please let Michelle know.
Applebee’s Honors Our Nations Veterans
On Veterans Day, November 11, 2010 Applebee’s will thank our Nations Veterans and Active Duty Military by inviting them to their neighborhood Applebee’s for a free meal. On this national day of respect and remembrance, Applebee’s is honored to salute the men and women who have fought and are still fighting for our country.
This year Applebee’s will be offering a new Veterans Day menu that will still include their signature and favorite items.
Please provide proof of service that will include your military ID, discharge paperword, any photo of you in uniform, and you VA medical card. For more information please contact your local Applebee’s. Thank you.
Veterans Day Parade Float Work Party
We will be holding a work party to make the necessary repairs to the float that need to be done. Please come and help out. Be at the post a 9AM. Thank You.
Veterans Day Parade
This years parade will be in Albany. IF you are apart of the float please be at the post no later than 7am. To volunteer to be on the float please contact the Post.
We are also having a Work Party on November 6th at 9am to repair the trailer and get it ready for the parade! Please come down and help us. Thank you. For any questions please contact post.
Election Day
November 2nd, 2010 is election day! So please go to your polls and vote for the person of your choice. Voting is how we as a nation control what goes on! So please VOTE! Check your local county to find out where your poll booths may be.
Halloween Spaghetti Dinner
We are having a Spaghetti Dinner on October 29th @ 6PM here at the post. Please come down and join us for our Halloween Dinner. The cost is $6. Please bring family, friends and neighbors. Hope to see you there.
Schedules
Post Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm
Post Members meet every Monday at 8:30AM for coffee and/or breakfast in the downstairs hall. Cost is DONATION only.
Ladies Auxiliary meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month at 7PM in the Main Hall.
COOTIES meeting will be the 1st Sunday of every month located in the downstairs hall. Potluck at 1PM, meeting at 2PM.
The Post Canteen will be open each Monday from 8:30AM-2:00PM for Cards, Commardarie and FUN!
