Post Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm
Post Members meet every Monday at 8:30AM for coffee and/or breakfast in the downstairs hall. Cost is DONATION only.
Ladies Auxiliary meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month at 7PM in the Main Hall.
COOTIES meeting will be the 1st Sunday of every month located in the downstairs hall. Potluck at 1PM, meeting at 2PM.
The Post Canteen will be open each Monday from 8:30AM-2:00PM for Cards, Commardarie and FUN!
GSAVO (Greater Salem Area Veterans’ Organizations)
All the Salem Veterans and Patriotic organizations have joined together to form the Greater Salem Area Veterans’ Organization with the purpose of coordinating efforts for recognition of MEMORIAL DAY, FLAG DAY, VETERANS’ DAY, Independence Day 4 July, etc. To re-awaken the general public to the PATRIOTISM of which we are very much apart of, to give RECOGNITION to those who have served and to RE-AFFIRM OUR COMMITMENT AND DEDICATION to our country so that those who have served, have not served in vain.
The Oregon GSAVO was initiated the Fall of 1980.
GSAVO IS NOT A PROGRAM OF VFW 661 BUT DOES WORK WITH THE POST TO HELP OUR VETERANS AND PLAN EVENTS.
